The Trauma Program Manager, in collaboration with the Director, provides administrative and educational oversight for the Trauma Service program (adult/pediatric) to include organizing, developing, directing, and assuring the delivery of cost-effective, quality patient care. Ensures that patient care is delivered in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures, State/Federal regulations, Joint Commission and ANA standards, and the hospital's code of Ethics. This position will have twenty-four hour accountability to ensure continuity of patient care. As both a community hospital and state-designated Level I Trauma Center, Delray Medical Center offers several specialized services including advanced cardiac and vascular facilities, orthopedics, neurosciences, emergency care and weight-loss surgery. Pinecrest Rehabilitation and Outpatient Hospital at Delray Medical Center is the only state designated brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation program in the county by the State of Florida. Preferred: Master's degree- Nursing or related healthcare focus Experience: Clinical and administrative practice Five (5) years clinical experience in Emergency or Trauma nursing Working knowledge of Quality Improvement process and Joint Commission standards Certifications: Required: Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida. American Heart Association BLS and ACLS; TNCC Preferred: PALS and ENPC
