Are you an efficient Order Picker looking for a rewarding role in Baltimore, Maryland? We're hiring! As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This position is critical to our logistics operations, ensuring timely and correct shipments. Your duties will include using scanning equipment, moving through the warehouse to locate items, and preparing them for the packing and shipping stages. Maintaining a clean and safe work area is a priority.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the staging or packing area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as stocking or cycle counting.
- Must be able to perform lifting tasks up to 40 lbs.
- Contribute to the efficiency of our logistics and fulfillment processes.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Familiarity with RF scanning equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good physical stamina for standing, walking, and reaching throughout the shift.
