Job Summary:
Our Boston, Massachusetts facility is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. This critical role ensures that our warehouse operates efficiently by tracking stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and reconciling discrepancies. The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for implementing and improving inventory management procedures, utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technologies. A keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy are paramount. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of inventory control.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate inventory data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor stock levels and identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure the safe storage and handling of all inventory items.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and ensure proper use of PPE.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and other inventory tracking tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
