Join our dedicated team as a Material Handler in Chicago, Illinois. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the movement, storage, and organization of materials within our warehouse facility. Your efforts will directly impact the efficiency of our logistics operations, ensuring that materials are readily available for production and shipment. We are seeking individuals who are safety-conscious, physically capable, and possess a strong understanding of material handling best practices. Responsibilities include: Loading and unloading materials from trucks and containers, Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment, Organizing and stacking materials in designated storage areas, Transporting materials to and from various work areas, Conducting regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation, Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, And assisting with inventory management tasks. A steadfast commitment to safety is required, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves significant physical exertion, including frequent and substantial Lifting, pushing, and pulling. Candidates must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
