An exciting opportunity exists for an Inventory Clerk to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This role is critical for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our logistics operations. You will be responsible for tracking stock levels, performing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and supporting the overall inventory management strategy. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a solid understanding of warehouse inventory systems. Key responsibilities include: Conducting regular physical inventory counts (cycle counting), Recording inventory data accurately into the system, Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, Monitoring stock levels and reordering points, Identifying and reporting damaged or expired goods, Assisting with receiving and put-away processes, And generating inventory reports for management. Compliance with all safety procedures is mandatory, including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While this role is less physically demanding than others, some Lifting may be required. We are looking for individuals who are proficient in using inventory software and have a proven track record in inventory control.
