Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

About
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech articulation, fluency, voice quality, and language skills
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and treatment plans
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records of treatment plans, progress and therapy sessions
- Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies for continued progress at home
```Requirements```
- Bachlor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant from an accredited program
- Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and speech-language pathology principles
- Experience working with patients in acute care settings and/or pediatrics is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt treatment plans based on patient progress

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
