About the Position
As a Project Scheduler, you will collaborate with project teams to plan, create, update, track, analyze, and report on project schedules, utilizing Critical Path Method (CPM) techniques from proposal through construction. You will work closely with project leaders, trade partners, and clients to build, evaluate, and optimize schedules, ensuring alignment with company policies, procedures, and key objectives. For service projects, you will manage day-to-day operations of the service labor scheduling team, coordinating requests for projects of varying sizes and complexities.
Day in the Life
- Collaborate with project teams to develop, maintain, and manage schedules for development, engineering, construction, supply chain, regulatory, and finance activities.
- Aggregate and integrate elements of large, complex projects into master schedules.
- Collect data, build and update schedules, and produce schedule reports.
- Monitor and document weekly and monthly progress, including critical path analysis and schedule narratives.
- Make on-site visits to inspect and review construction progress.
- Assess impacts to critical and near-critical activities, monitor schedule deviations, and prepare progress reports and time/impact analyses.
- Participate in project team meetings to communicate schedule metrics and develop corrective actions.
