The Role: Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a dedicated full-time Maintenance Technician to help care for and preserve our beautiful 22-acre campus. This position is well-suited to an individual with a broad, practical skill set—someone who is equally comfortable troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and plumbing systems, performing carpentry, completing routine repairs, maintaining grounds, responding to unexpected challenges, and adapting to the varied needs of a residential campus.

Just as important, this role requires a friendly, approachable demeanor and genuine comfort interacting with two distinct populations—our senior residents and our client families, including children—building trust through respectful, everyday communication.

What You'll Bring

• At least two years of hands-on experience in residential property maintenance
• Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, HVAC, and groundskeeping
• A valid driver's license in good standing (our campus is expansive, and mobility is key)
• A commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork
• A personal set of hand tools appropriate for general maintenance work
• A friendly demeanor and comfort level when interacting with others

This position reports directly to our Maintenance Manager, follows a regular work schedule (to be determined), and includes on-call responsibilities.

Backround Check

The chosen candidate must complete an extensive background check process—including employment history, criminal checks, fingerprinting, and all Department of Child Services (DCS)-required training. Please note: this is a very thorough process, and DCS holds it to the highest standard.
