Summary: Provides efficient assistance to the servers and bartenders and the server/bartender process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Wipe down all surfaces: tables, chairs, cabinets, chair legs, tables, table legs, counters.
- Provide supplies to all servers/bartenders by stocking areas where and as needed
- Maintain personal health and sanitation standards (wash hands when using restroom etc.)
- Polish and stock equipment for operation (silverware , linens & glassware)
- Sets up, clear and clean tables before, during, and after the service.
- Set up the tables with mise en place table per design.
- Ensure that the guest's tables are maintained to our standards at all times and in a timely fashion.
- Ensure that coffee is made and ready to be served.
- Maintain equipment per levels and resets bus stations at the end of the shift.
- Assist servers as requested.
- Refill ice water in a timely fashion manner.
- Check and maintain the cleanliness of guests' tables and bus station.
- Perform all opening, running and closing side duties.
- Perform all duties and sequences of service in adherence to standards.
- Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule and late hours when necessary.
- Must have the ability to report to work on time and on a regular basis.
- Responsible for completing tasks related to stocking, replenishing, cleaning, and maintenance (inform MOD of any needed maintenance).
- Uniform and/or clothing should always be "on stage clean"
- Create and support an environment of "Teamwork" by helping a fellow employee or guest, without a second thought.
- Attendance in mandatory meetings, training, workshops, and/or seminars
- Adhere to organization policies and procedures
- Maintain and stock adequate supplies of bar items such as glasses, cups, napkins, drink supplies, condiments, etc.
- Wash glasses and other serving equipment at bars.
- Stock refrigerating units with wines, beer, replace beer kegs, etc.
- Replenish ice at bar.
- Clean and polish bar, counters, shelves, equipment, bar stools, etc.
Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience:
- Previous experience in a high volume restaurant experience preferred
- High School Diploma
- Experience with one to two years in a hotel restaurant bar
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, write and speak fluently, in the primary language of the property location
Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in units of measure, using whole numbers
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense, define problems, collect data and notify management when necessary. Ability to successfully re-prioritize tasks in a moment's notice.

The employee may be required to frequently climb (stairs). The employee may be required to kneel. The employee must frequently, carry pull and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
