Landscape/ Maintenance Specialist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape/Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through a variety of landscaping, horticultural, and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical knowledge, and experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, and the use of hand and power tools. Duties

• Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, and trimming to ensure well-maintained turf areas.
• Conduct landscape maintenance such as planting, pruning, tree care, and shrubbery management.
• Operate landscaping equipment including excavators, snow plows, and other construction machinery safely and efficiently.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for various tasks including hardscape installation, gardening, and general maintenance.
• Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes.
• Execute snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe.
• Assist with tree trimming and arboricultural tasks to promote healthy growth and safety.
• Support construction projects related to landscape design or hardscape features such as patios or walkways.
• Maintain equipment through routine cleaning and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or related fields.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various landscaping and construction equipment including excavators and snow plows.
• Familiarity with lawn care practices, tree care, irrigation systems, and horticulture principles.
• Ability to use hand tools such as shovels, pruners, rakes, as well as power tools safely.
• Knowledge of hardscape installation and general construction techniques is a plus.
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Valid driver's license preferred; ability to operate vehicles or machinery may be required depending on job assignments.
• A proactive attitude towards safety protocols and teamwork is essential for success in this role. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $8.00 - $9.00 per hour
