We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Administrator with a strong background in networking and telecommunications. This role is critical in ensuring the availability, security, and performance of the organization's network infrastructure and supporting technologies. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing enterprise-level networks, cloud services, and disaster recovery tools, while also ensuring compliance with healthcare industry standards.

Job Duties:

  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, and telecommunications systems.
  • Ensure network security by implementing best practices, monitoring for vulnerabilities, and coordinating with cybersecurity teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support business applications, end-user connectivity, and healthcare-specific technology needs.
  • Provide Tier 3 support for escalated network and telecommunications issues, ensuring minimal disruption to critical healthcare operations.
  • Document systems, processes, and configurations in alignment with IT policies and regulatory standards (HIPAA, HITECH).
  • Participate in capacity planning, technology upgrades, and strategic IT projects that drive innovation and scalability

Education & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in network administration, with emphasis on healthcare or regulated industries preferred.
  • Strong expertise in networking (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs) and telecommunications.
  • Proven experience managing Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Plus:

  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Azure Administrator/Architect, or ITIL Foundation .
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements in the healthcare industry (HIPAA, HITECH, NIST).
  • Exposure to automation and scripting for network administration.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency.
