Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Individual Supports

ASG Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide Individual Supports to adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes across New Jersey.

What you'll do

• Provide 1:1 support in the home
• Help with daily living skills: meal prep, light housekeeping, bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and hygiene (as needed)
• Follow the care plan and any behavior/safety plans as trained
• Encourage independence, communication, and daily routines
• Use our app to clock in/out and complete simple service notes
• Communicate with the office about any changes, concerns, or incidents

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Able to read, write, and complete documentation in English
• Previous DSP/caregiver experience preferred but not required
• Reliable transportation; valid driver's license preferred
• Willing to complete all required background checks (fingerprinting, CARI, Central Registry)
• Willing to complete pre-employment and random drug testing as required
• CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain before working independently

Schedule & Pay

• Part-time and full-time hours may be available
• Daytime, evening, and weekend shifts depending on the case
• Competitive hourly pay based on experience and case needs
