The Associate Manager – Manufacturing Engineering leads a team of skilled engineers to design, develop, and implement advanced manufacturing processes and technologies for injection molding and related operations. This role ensures alignment with business strategy, compliance with regulatory standards, and delivery of innovative solutions that enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Let's talk about Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to build a high-performing engineering team.
- Drive engagement and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Manufacturing Process Optimization
- Oversee development, validation, and optimization of molding processes, equipment, and methodologies.
- Implement digital transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability.
Project Management
- Manage manufacturing projects to meet timelines, budgets, and quality objectives.
- Identify risks, develop contingencies, and ensure successful project execution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Operations, Product Development, Global Supplier Alliance, and Senior Management to align deliverables.
- Engage external suppliers and technology partners for advanced solutions.
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure adherence to GMP, regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality systems.
- Maintain robust documentation and reporting practices.
Let's Talk About Qualifications and Experience
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechatronics) or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in medical device or pharmaceutical industries.
- Strong knowledge of process validation, GMP, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing technical teams in dynamic environments.
- Expertise in injection molding, automation, and high-volume manufacturing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Travel 20%
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with digital manufacturing technologies and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and drive strategic alignment across global teams.
