About

Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, this role is responsible for leading Chamberlain Group's university recruiting efforts and managing all early-in-career talent programs. Acting as both a program manager and a strategic recruiter, this individual will oversee full-cycle university recruitment, cultivate strong campus partnerships, and design and manage impactful internship and co-op programs. They will collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Management, DEI, and senior leaders to ensure an integrated and engaging early talent strategy that aligns with Chamberlain Group's business needs and values.

Areas of Responsibility

Develop and Execute Strategy:

  • Design, execute and continuously refine a university relations strategy aligned with long-term workforce planning and diversity hiring goals.
  • Identify key partner schools and build strong relationships with university career services, faculty, and student organizations.

Campus Engagement:

  • Plan, coordinate, and attend career fairs, information sessions, networking events, and on-campus interviews.
  • Represent the organization at university and industry events to promote brand awareness and attract early-career talent.

Program Management:

  • Oversee internship and co-op programs from recruitment through onboarding, engagement, and conversion.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define intern/co-op role scopes and success metrics.
  • Manage end-to-end logistics of campus hiring cycles, including interview scheduling, offer management, and conversion tracking.

Recruiting:

  • Source, screen, and select candidates for internship, co-op, and entry-level positions.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of top-tier candidates from diverse academic backgrounds.
  • Use data and feedback to refine recruitment strategies and improve outcomes.

Brand Building & Marketing:

  • Develop targeted marketing campaigns for students using social media, email, and campus-based channels.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to ensure brand consistency and create engaging recruitment materials.

Data & Reporting:

  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics, candidate engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on program effectiveness and ROI.
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
  • Protect Chamberlain Group's reputation by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in recruiting with a minimum of 2 years focused on University Relations.
  • Experience building and managing campus programs, including event coordination and intern/co-op hiring.
  • Experience creating and managing program curriculum, seminars, presentations, workshops, learning experiences, chat rooms, websites, social networking, etc. based on goals/objectives
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills with a variety of stakeholders (students, faculty, internal teams).
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, and recruiting platforms (e.g., Workday, Ripplematch, Handshake, LinkedIn).
  • Understanding of current early career hiring landscape, ability to advocate from the student perspective and a general knowledge of best practices for attracting talent.
  • Ability to understand changing business/market needs and subsequently creative in developing solutions in support of ongoing transformation
  • Ability to travel as needed

The pay range for this position is $97,700 - $157,475; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
