We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to lead our restaurant team to success In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and support the management team in maintaining a vibrant, efficient, and welcoming environment. Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, shift management, and ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Manage inventory control, including stock ordering, storage, and waste reduction to optimize profitability.
  • Supervise staff scheduling, interviewing potential team members, and ensuring adequate staffing levels for each shift.
  • Uphold food safety standards by monitoring hygiene practices, conducting regular inspections, and enforcing health regulations.
  • Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business.
  • Assist in budgeting activities and monitor operational costs to meet financial targets.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry; assistant manager experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with POS systems cash handling.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, and supervising diverse teams.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
  • Ability to manage shift operations efficiently in quick service & fast food or casual dining environments.
  • Knowledge of inventory control practices including ordering, stock rotation, and waste management.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
