About

Bear Mountain Healthcare is seeking an HR Generalist to work in our Long Term Care Nursing facility.

The HR Generalist works in the Human Resources department in various aspects. You will float tp 3 locations, Bear Mountain Parkway, Bear Mountain Mattpan, and Bear Mountain West Roxbury. Responsibilities will vary from, attendance documentation, new employee on-boarding process which includes, posting for open positions, review of applications, initial interview, offer letters, process all new hire paperwork, complete CORI background checks, verifies references, verifies licensure, OIG and other tasks associated with new hire processing. Orientation, insurance enrollment, Benefits management. New Employee training on company policies and procedures that support the companies Mission, Vision and Goals. The HR Generalist needs to have a detailed understanding of the state and federal laws and regulations, involved in hiring and process progressive disciplinary actions.

Assists with payroll to ensure all hours are paid appropriately.

Process all workers compensation claims, tracks and trends to assure safety standards are met and report monthly at safety meetings.

Process all unemployment documentation requests.

Support the facilities and Companies Hospitality programs to reward and recognize employees on a regular basis.

Develop and maintain employees files

process annual reports, such as OSHA log, EEO-1 reports

process requests for FMLA, Medical LOA, ADA tracks accordingly

Handles employee relations concerns and sends to appropriate managers for review

will assure all departments have a Master Schedule and review regularly for open positions that we need to post job posting for or ask staffing agency for temporary assistance.

monitor time off requests and approve deny based on needs of the facility

Must have knowledge of principles and practices of Personnel administration. Benefits administration, Payroll system and processing. effective oral and written communication skills. excellent interpersonal skills

Ideal candidate will have 3 years prior HR Generalist, payroll experience
