Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety and quality, and maintaining efficient operations to create a welcoming dining experience for our guests.

Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of food handling and cleanliness.
  • Manage POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for efficient order processing and cash handling.
  • Train and develop staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and customer service best practices.
  • Conduct interviews and hire new team members to build a strong workforce.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering processes to ensure the availability of necessary supplies.
  • Implement budgeting strategies to optimize operational costs while maintaining quality service.
  • Supervise daily shifts, ensuring that all team members are performing their duties effectively.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.

Skills

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or similar roles within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for efficient transaction processing.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and develop team members effectively.
  • Strong background in inventory control and cash handling procedures.
  • Experience in fine dining, casual dining, quick service & fast food environments is preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
  • Ability to manage budgets effectively while ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge of culinary practices, kitchen management, and banquet experience is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Pay: $60, $65,068.08 per year
