Administrative Assistant/Receptionist
We are seeking Administrative Assistant who will support the administration and creation of new and updates to existing educational content, programs, products, and publications for hair school programs and salon education programs.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
- Booking appointments for clients
- Data entry into various platforms
- Bookkeeping duties, such as entering receipts and expenses.
- Calcuating stylist payments
- Conduct project research for education content
- Assist in student registrations, enrollments, and various other administrative tasks
- Respond to inquiries from prospective students.
- Assist with training and implementation efforts to support student success.
- Prepares records and reports regarding attendance, grades, course files and course evaluation; submits textbook/materials requests.
- Ensure open communication regarding task completion, delivery dates, and any other resources needed to conform to the project timelines.
- Maintains a comprehensive and up-to-date understanding educational offerings, including our online learning platform, curriculum materials, and educational hair and tool offerings.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to coordinate educational activities and ensure consistency across the curriculum.
- Plan and develop various student learning activities applicable to hands-on lab work, practical demonstrations, and techniques that motivate students.
- Review and regularly inform the supervisor of students out on leave, missing time/hours, and make contact to keep students in school.
- Maintain student attendance and grade records.
- Ensure a proper level of professionalism is maintained throughout the school, while creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Suppport salon opening and closing routines, such as cleaning, taking out trash, vacuuming, and maintiaing a tidy work area.
- Other duties and projects may be assigned.
