Candidates:
We are seeking developers/engineers/etc. who share our passions to join our team as a junior software engineer. Successful candidates will work primarily on embedded applications written in the C programming language.
The right candidates will participate in tasks which cover the full range of the development lifecycle from requirements to integration across a variety of industrial and aerospace programs.
Education:
- BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 4+ Years experience.
Required skills:
- Enjoys working independently on specific goals in coordination with work being done by the rest of the team.
- Demonstrates initiative, and a willingness to speak openly.
- Proficiency in C or C++.
Bonus skills:
- Strong technical skills including an understanding of software development principles.
- Experience with reading schematics, data sheets, and interfacing with hardware.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Experience with communication protocols.
- Experience with safety critical systems.
ITAR Requirements:
To conform to U.S. Government technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
Compensation and benefits:
- $80-100k base depending on skill and experience.
- Vacation time.
- Paid overtime.
- Epic retirement plan.
- Relocation is not available for this position.
