Role Description
This is a contract and fully remote role for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA). The Sr Oracle DBA will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and optimizing Oracle databases, troubleshooting replication and performance issues, and implementing strategies to enhance database security. The role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams to support mission-critical systems and ensure data integrity, availability, and security.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Oracle Database Administration and general Database Administration
- Proficiency in managing Replication processes and resolving replication-related issues
- Strong skills in Troubleshooting to address database performance and operational challenges
- Experience in implementing and maintaining robust Database Security measures
- Ability to work independently and manage database environments in a remote setting
- Solid understanding of best practices for database optimization and disaster recovery
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Certifications in Oracle Database technology or relevant training are a plus
