Lead Radiologic Technologist

Hourly Pay Range:

$ $ The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Radiologic Technologist III
• Location: Glenbrook
• Full Time/Part Time: Full time, 40 hours
• Hours: M - F 3:00 pm 11:30pm
• Required Travel: Limited

What you will do:

• Perform radiographic exams/obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort.

• Oversees the ortho workflow and efficiency.

• Ensure that patient experience is a priority and that the department is maintaining a level of professionalism.

• Handle patient recovery.
• Stay on top of exam delays and keep track of trends in productivity.
• Be the contact person for the practice manager while maintaining a productive relationship with all employees in medical group.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of API/Radiant/Intelerad.
• Will perform evaluations.
• Make sure that all techs are up to date on licenses, CPR, DevelopU classes, and Flu shots.
• Onboard new employees.
• Does scheduling for front desk, CT, MRI, and xray
• Places supply orders
• Addresses equipment and building issues with the appropriate parties
• Assists where there are needs at that sites

What you will need:

• License: IEMA licensing required
• Education: Certificate or Associate's degree from an accredited radiology program
• Certification: CPR certification required. ARRT registered.
• Experience: 2-3 years of previous tech experience. Leadership/supervisory experience preferred.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
