P&C IT Services provides professional services to help our business units and corporate functions use technology to create, manage, and optimize information and business processes. The Quality Assurance team within P&C IT Services is seeking a Data Quality Assurance Lead. This individual will work a hybrid schedule if in the greater Cincinnati area; if outside of Cincinnati, the expectation will be to come to the office once a week.
Scope Of Job
- Provides Expertise in ETL, Snowflake, Python , test automation in data testing.
- Performs moderately complex test case/procedure development, test management functions and tasks.
- Performs moderately complex analysis of requirements, test coverage and impact of proposed requirements changes.
- Conducts peer reviews of test artifacts.
- Planning, Monitoring and Control of Testing Activities and Tasks.
- Creates, designs, and executes the test plans and test cases which covers ETL process and Data Warehouse validation.
- Plays a major role in championing the importance in quality improvement across all areas of Software Development Lifecycle.
- Collaborates with Project teams to understand the business use case and build a data testing strategy.
- Performs work under moderate supervision and ability to lead and mentor a small team of employees and contractors
- May serve as an agile development team member, creating and testing the product increment.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- 8 to 10+ years of experience in ETL testing, BI testing, 3 to 5 years of experience in leading teams.
- Experience in creating/analyzing simple to complex SQL.
- Knowledge on Database objects and relational data models, and a good understanding of various database technologies (DB2, Teradata, Oracle 10g/11g, SQL server, Big data/Hadoop).
- Knowledge of Cloud (MS Azure, IICS, Snowflake) based testing.
- Exposure to Oracle SQL Developer, Toad, Hive, Toad Data point etc.
- Good exposure to Data automation validation tools like Informatica DVO, Katalon etc., and data automation using Python.
- Good exposure in executing Functional, Regression, Integration and E2E testing.
- Good exposure to agile testing process, test strategy planning and implementation, test execution monitoring and reporting.
- Knowledge on Insurance Domain is plus.
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
