- Implement and enforce quality assurance standards across all sites.
- Review and maintain lookahead schedules to align planning and execution.
- Proactively identify and resolve site issues with cost- and time-efficient solutions.
- Maintain organized project documentation (RFIs, Submittal Logs, Inspection Reports, Meeting Minutes, etc.).
- Mentor field engineers, superintendents, and offshore staff to enhance performance and accountability.
- Collaborate with Procurement on material submittals, vendor selection, and market options.
- Maintain professional communication with inspectors, consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement and internal workflow optimization.
- Ensure structured reporting and transparent management systems.
- Evaluate and mitigate risks related to safety, cost, and schedule.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (required).
- 10+ years of proven construction management experience in the Los Angeles market.
- Strong knowledge of CBC, OSHA, and local inspection/permitting processes.
- Experience working with Deputy Inspectors, EORs, and City Representatives.
- Proficient in construction documentation (RFIs, Submittals, Shop Drawings, Logs).
- Familiarity with Procore, Projectler, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality and control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Experience collaborating with offshore engineering and drafting teams.
- A strong network of subcontractors and vendors is a major advantage.
- Professional demeanor and strong client-facing presence.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Ideal Candidate Traits:
- Proactive, disciplined, and results-driven.
- Balances technical precision with field practicality.
- Thrives under pressure and stays composed in complex situations.
- Strong communicator and effective team motivator.
- Anticipates and resolves issues before they escalate.
