Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, efficient, and professional Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, experience in food and beverage service, and familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with guests in a lively environment, and ensuring an exceptional experience for all patrons. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable. The bartender will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining high standards of food safety and responsible alcohol service.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Engage with guests professionally to provide excellent customer service in various settings including fine dining, nightclubs, and banquet events
• Manage cash handling transactions with accuracy, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area following food safety standards
• Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
• Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking practices
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators for catering or banquet services
• Handle food safety procedures related to food handling and beverage preparation
• Demonstrate effective time management skills to serve multiple guests efficiently during busy hours

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or retail math is preferred; experience in fine dining or banquet environments is a plus
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during shifts
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and sales transactions
• Experience working in nightclubs or catering environments is advantageous
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor are essential for success in this role
