Duties

• Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic ingredient handling and setup under supervision
• Support catering and banquet events by ensuring clean dishware and assisting with setup or breakdown as needed
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage waste disposal and ensure proper storage of clean items
• Follow all food handling protocols to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene standards are met
• Contribute to a positive team environment by staying organized, proactive, and attentive to operational needs

Skills

• Strong understanding of food handling safety and sanitation procedures
• Experience in bussing tables or supporting food service operations preferred
• Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks and assist with catering or banquet setups
• Previous restaurant or hotel experience is advantageous for understanding hospitality standards
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment cleaning processes and maintaining a hygienic workspace
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary staff
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $ $14.01 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
