Are you an organized and analytical professional seeking a career in logistics? Our company in Miami, Florida, is searching for an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting regular audits, investigating discrepancies, and implementing procedures to minimize stock errors. We emphasize a safe work environment and provide comprehensive training, including the necessary PPE, to ensure all team members can perform their tasks with confidence and security.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by tracing and reconciling transactions.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify slow-moving or obsolete stock.
  • Manage the return process, ensuring accurate credit and restock where applicable.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize inventory flow and storage.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other tools for inventory tracking and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
  • Prepare regular reports on inventory status, accuracy, and adjustments.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or logistics.
  • Proficiency with WMS and other inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to safety protocols, including wearing PPE.
