Our Seattle, Washington location is seeking a proactive Inventory Control Specialist to enhance our logistics operations. This critical role focuses on maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions to ensure data accuracy. Your expertise will be vital in managing stock levels, optimizing warehouse organization, and preventing stockouts or overstock situations. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and a thorough understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse logistics. Strict adherence to Safety procedures and the proper use of PPE are mandatory, especially when working around moving equipment or handling materials. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Ensure accurate recording of all inventory movements.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to maintain stock accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels and report on inventory status.
- Uphold all Safety standards and ensure proper PPE usage.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and WMS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform detailed data entry and analysis.
- Knowledge of warehouse logistics and best practices.
- Capability for moderate Lifting as needed.
- Commitment to Safety and appropriate PPE use.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
