Job Summary:
We are hiring a diligent Material Handler for our Nashville, Tennessee warehouse. This role is essential for the efficient movement and organization of goods throughout our facility. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, and dispatching materials, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring inventory accuracy. We are looking for individuals who are physically fit, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a high standard of Safety. This is a hands-on role that requires stamina and a proactive approach to workflow management. You will be an integral part of our logistics team, contributing directly to our operational success. Comprehensive training will be provided on equipment operation and Safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE. Your role involves significant Lifting and manual dexterity. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and shipments.
  • Store materials in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper organization.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and proficiently.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately based on pick lists and order requirements.
  • Transport materials to various workstations or shipping areas.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work environment.
  • Strictly follow all Safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of PPE.
  • Handle packages and perform tasks involving substantial Lifting.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
  • Ability to perform manual labor, including frequent and heavy Lifting, for the duration of the shift.
  • Familiarity with material handling equipment operation.
  • Understanding of basic warehouse logistics and inventory control.
  • Strong commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all rules.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
