About
Join our growing warehouse operations in Des Moines, Iowa, as a Warehouse Worker. This role is fundamental to the efficient functioning of our distribution center, involving a wide range of tasks related to the handling and movement of goods. You will be responsible for receiving inventory, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for shipment. Accurate record-keeping and maintaining a clean and organized workspace are key. A strong focus on Safety and adherence to all company policies, including the correct use of PPE , is essential. This position requires individuals who are reliable, physically capable of performing Lifting tasks, and have a good work ethic. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our Logistics team and develop your skills.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock and organize inventory in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders and prepare them for shipment.
- Pack orders securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, following all Safety guidelines.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory management.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Practice safe Lifting techniques at all times.
- Wear and maintain required PPE .
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in a warehouse or general labor role is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks, including regular Lifting of up to 50 lbs. Good attention to detail and organizational skills. Understanding of basic warehouse and Logistics operations. Commitment to workplace Safety and the proper use of PPE . Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
