This position is key to ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring they are packaged securely and correctly. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and possesses a strong work ethic. This role requires physical stamina, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to **Safety**. You will work closely with our **Logistics** team to maintain smooth operations. Adherence to **PPE** guidelines is mandatory. This position involves frequent **Lifting** and moving of boxes and requires you to be on your feet for extended periods. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, team-players, and eager to contribute to our success. Accuracy and speed are both important in this role. Experience with RF scanners is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders using an RF scanner or pick list.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipping.
- Label packages for shipment according to carrier and company requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with **Safety** regulations.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment as needed.
- Perform **Lifting** of items up to 30-40 lbs throughout the shift.
- Wear required **PPE** at all times, including safety shoes and gloves.
- Report any damaged items or inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and accuracy of the **Logistics** department.
- Follow all **Safety** procedures diligently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse fulfillment role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and order information.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners is a plus.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent **Lifting** and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse **Safety** protocols and **PPE**.
- Understanding of basic **Logistics** processes.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
