Join our state-of-the-art Distribution Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as a Distribution Center Associate. In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks essential to the logistics process, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. We are committed to providing a safe workplace, and all associates are required to follow safety protocols, including the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and store incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick orders using RF scanners or other provided technology.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and dollies, as needed.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and the proper use of PPE.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the distribution center.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is advantageous.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics and operations.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
