Job Description

This role will be based in San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Chicago, or New York.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

TheSales Strategy & Operations teamsitsat the core of LinkedInMarketing Solutions,partnering with a variety of cross-functional teams (sales, business operations, finance, marketing, product,etc.)to help crack the most important strategic and operational problems facing the Marketing Solutions business.This role will be partnering directly with our head Online Sales Organization (OSO) Agency Sales in addition to one or more senior sales leaders across the organization.

You will help executives and sales management make data-driven decisions by providing reporting, analysis, and insights from LinkedIn’s customer and sales data. You will be a key member of both the assigned sales leaders’ leadership team and the Online Sales Organization’s (OSO’s) SOPs leadership team and will partner on regional and global efforts and initiatives. You may also be involved in annual planning activities including segmentation, headcount planning, territory building and quota setting.

We are looking for an exceptional business and people leader with strong quantitative, problem solving, communication, and project management skills. The ideal candidate can effectively communicate with executives and collaborate with a variety of people and job functions, accomplishing tasks of high complexity and scope, and perform professionally in a challenging, ambiguous, and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to handle confidential and non-routine information supporting a rapidly changing organization. We're seeking a leader who can recognize opportunities to drive business growth or improve processes and who can lead a team to bring these ideas to life.

Responsibilities:

Lead and develop a top-caliber strategy & operations team to support OSO’s Agency business Act as anadvisor to sales/cross-functionalleadershipby delivering data-drivenrecommendationstohelpoptimizethe LMS agency business at scale and achieveitsstrategicpriorities. Lead strategic and operational projects impacting the Sales and GTM Ops organization, including GTM strategy development, client intelligence, process improvement, and automation. Advise senior sales members on growing their business with data-driven, actionable recommendations. Design, build, and optimize sales territories on a semi-annual basis, and partner with sales to identify and prioritize investments. Identify and track KPIs to inform leadership of the health of the business. Drive operational efficiency through short and long-term process optimization. Establish strong working relationships with peers in other GTM Ops and cross-functional teams, and represent your organization in LMS-wide projects. Coach your team on big-picture thinking and operational rigor, and mentor them with a focus on skill and career development. Be flexible and willing to handle unexpected operational tasks. Deliver on key global processes such as annual planning; designing, building, and optimizing sales territories; forecasting; and quota setting and management.

Qualifications

BasicQualifications:

BA/BS degree ineconomics, management, science, business, applied math, statistics, finance, analytics or related field or equivalent experience 9+ years' experienceina strategicoranalyticalrole, includingConsulting, Finance, Business Operations,Sales Operations,orothersimilar 2+ years’ experiencewithdata analysis/modeling(Excel, SQL)and the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sounddecision-making 2+ years of people management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven track record of leading strategic and operational cross-functional initiatives in a high-growth, performance-focused environment Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, navigate challenging data sets, develop solutions, and craft high-quality executivepresentations Strongcommunication skills written and verbal, including experience communicating with seniorleaders Experience with D365, Anaplan and reporting tools like Tableau Highly collaborative style with strong influence skills MBA or advanced degree preferred (or equivalent work experience) Agency GTM strategy experience in digital ads a plus

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $146,000 to $237,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
