This role is based in Dorchester Collection Corporate Office, London
there may be an opportunity and requirement to travel to different sites in London and overseas ifrequired. Using yourpreviousexperience in Hotel Technology you will provide the conduit between the corporate office and the hotels to ensure all solutions areoptimizedand configured within DorchesterCollection standards whilst taking into consideration other related and connected systems. You will actively engage in project work associated with Dorchester Collection core central systems as well asmaintain,supportandimprovesaid systems on an ongoing basis. You willbe responsible formaintaining/supporting existing multi-property environment ofOpera PMS, OracleSimphonyPOS, SynXis CRS, Microsoft Dynamics CRM,Trybe,Unifocusand other associated global systems. Youllsupport the applications department with project implementation and coordination, and work with third parties and internal stake holders to run test scriptsto qualityassure functionalities aredelivered Maintainand developappropriate DCGlobal applications security standards and associated processes, and develop SOPs for system functionalities andguides inconjunction with other key business stakeholders Support key Globalapplicationsversionupgrades
functionality testing, implementation, introduce new functionalities, advise on functionality changes Provide helpdesk escalation of hotel application issues including acting as first line reviewer/assessor of change requests and noting viability and impact before then seeking final approval Raise and escalate P1 Hotel Application issues for the group and co-ordinate/update with key hotel stakeholders The items shared are the essence of a day in the life of a Global IT Lead, butwellmake sure you are provided with specifics on how we care for our hotels and corporate office. What you'll bring
Previousexperiencerunning projects as wellenforcing processes,proceduresand standards Previouslydemonstratedexperience in implementing ormaintainingcentral hoteltechnology basedsystems Experience in testing, assessment, and approval of upgrades in multi-property environments Youllhave advanced knowledge of at leastoneof the following: OperaPMS, Opera Cloud PMS, OracleSImphonyPOS, Microsoft DynamicsCRMand/orSynxisCRS Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have greatverbal and writtencommunication skillsin English Youveheld a supervisory role inhoteloperations and haveexperience ofworking directly with hotel technologies in a role where this was a significant responsibility.
