About Us: POTS (Pediatric Occupational Therapy Services) has been Bergen County's premier pediatric therapy practice since 1991. Our state-of-the-art sensory gyms in Teaneck and Waldwick provide a collaborative, family-centered environment where children and therapists thrive.

We're Seeking Part-Time & Weekend SLPs With:

  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology (ASHA-accredited program)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • NJ Speech Pathology License (NJ school certification preferred)
  • 2+ years experience in pediatric private practice and/or schools
  • Strong evaluation and treatment skills across all ages
  • Warm, collaborative approach with children and families
  • Willingness to work at both Teaneck and Waldwick locations

Position Details:

  • Part-time: 8-12 hours per week preferred
  • Must include after-school hours (after 3:30 pm)
  • Weekend availability a big plus
  • Per diem: $70-$90 per session based on experience
  • Session-based compensation (paid when seeing patients)

What You'll Do:

  • Evaluate and treat children birth through 21 in our sensory gyms
  • Address receptive/expressive language, pragmatics, articulation, phonological disorders
  • Design effective home programs and school strategies
  • Collaborate with families and teachers on functional goals
  • Participate in team meetings, workshops, and program development
  • Contribute to social skills groups, summer camps, and after-school programs

We're Especially Interested in SLPs With Experience In:

  • Apraxia of Speech
  • Feeding therapy and oral motor work (OMT certification a plus)
  • Working with children on the Autism Spectrum
  • AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication)
  • Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)
  • Executive Function
  • Understanding of sensory processing
