Production Associate

The Production Line Associate is responsible for helping meet daily production goals efficiently and safely by following all requirements and SOPs. The successful candidate will have experience working in a food manufacturing environment, self-motivation, and a desire to share and learn new skills.

Standard hours will be 8:00am- 4:30pm - Full Time

• Must have the ability to work in a fast paced constantly evolving environment with focused attention to detail.
• Experience working in manufacturing, preferably in the Food Industry.

Essential duties and responsibilities.

• Compliance with Sugarman of Vermont Safety, Food Safety and Quality systems.
• Operate packaging lines and, or support roles to meet production schedule.
• Monitors that packaging is compliant with product specification.
• Accurately complete all necessary documentation throughout production runs.
• Document when cleaning SOPs are complete.
• Tear down and set up production lines.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Provide coverage if needed to support team members.
• Consistently follow policies and standard operating procedures.
• Support a positive work environment.
• Other activities as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 70 lbs.
• Ability to work in changing temperatures.
• Ability to constantly lift lbs) bend, stretch and stand during the entire shift, frequently kneel squat, stoop, twist and reach overhead with repetitive motions.
• Visual ability to discern quality and cleanliness.
• Ability to follow safety and food safety requirements.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to get to and from work.
• Maintain and follow Good "GMPS", Food safety, HACCP, and FDA requirements

This position has no direct reports or supervisory responsibilities.
