Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager for a plumbing company to oversee and coordinate large-scale construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction management software, and a solid background in project scheduling and site supervision. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead diverse projects, ensure safety compliance, and deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.

Duties

  • Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure project scope aligns with design specifications.
  • Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Civil 3D for project documentation and tracking.
  • Oversee procurement processes, including construction estimating and contract negotiations.
  • Monitor site activities to ensure safety protocols are followed and quality standards are maintained.
  • Manage project budgets, change orders, and resource allocation effectively.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, resolve issues promptly, and ensure adherence to project timelines.
  • Prepare detailed reports on project status for stakeholders and executive leadership.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in civil or heavy civil projects.
  • Proficiency with project management tools including Primavera P6, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other construction management software.
  • Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, contracts, and construction estimating processes.
  • Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, coordination, and site supervision.
  • Strong understanding of construction safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills for liaising with clients, teams, and vendors.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP or CCM are preferred but not required. This position offers a dynamic work environment where leadership in construction projects is highly valued. Pay: $69, $84,038.06 per year
