Matrimonial Litigation Associate

We have been retained by a well-established and well-regarded matrimonial boutique (Westchester County) seeking to hire an accomplished litigator with significant courtroom and trial experience. The firm is committed to providing excellent service to its clients, works reasonable hours, and has strong ties to the community. The incoming attorney will have the opportunity to assume significant responsibility immediately, and, for the right person, there is long-term leadership potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as trial counsel in contested matrimonial and family law matters
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, negotiations, and trials
• Manage cases with increasing autonomy; direct client interaction and strategic litigation decisions
• Draft motions, briefs, and settlement agreements
• Collaborate with a close-knit team in a fully in-office environment

What the Firm Seeks

• Approximately 5–10+ years of litigation experience (including trials)
• Practitioners with a matrimonial, financial, or ADA background
• Strong writing, advocacy, and case-management skills
• New York bar admission
• Ability to work in the office, five days per week

What the Firm Offers

• Base salary between $140,000 to $200,000 (depending on experience), plus bonus compensation
