We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including overseeing staff, ensuring smooth shift transitions, and maintaining high standards of service.
  • Support food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Supervise staff training and development to promote a knowledgeable and motivated team.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste.
  • Handle POS system for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
  • Oversee food production processes, ensuring quality control.
  • Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to optimize restaurant profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Support catering, banquet services, bar operations, and other special events as needed.
  • Participate in interviewing potential staff members and contribute to hiring decisions.
  • Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and resolving guest concerns promptly.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant management roles within quick service & fast food restaurants or fine dining establishments.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and culinary operations.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience is required.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervision, and team management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and engage customers effectively.
  • Background in food preparation, kitchen management, or culinary experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and food production processes.
  • Hospitality management background with a focus on customer service excellence.
