Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet company standards for cleanliness and presentation
• Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff to deliver consistent service excellence while fostering a positive team environment
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities to verify cleaning quality, safety compliance, and adherence to brand standards
• Schedule staff shifts efficiently to meet occupancy demands and operational needs
• Oversee inventory management of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels and maintenance
• Implement and monitor cleaning procedures for various surfaces including floors, carpets, tiles, and upholstery using appropriate techniques such as industrial cleaning or floor care methods
• Address guest requests or complaints promptly with professionalism and a focus on resolution
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, safety incidents, and staff performance

Experience

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial supervision within the hospitality industry
• Strong background in cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning, and janitorial practices
• Familiarity with hospitality standards, guest service protocols, and safety regulations
• Prior experience leading a team of housekeeping or janitorial staff is highly preferred
• Knowledge of inventory control for cleaning supplies and equipment management is advantageous
