Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Onboarding and Offboarding employees, knowledge of key HR functions including document retention, compliance, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities

· Administer and coordinate HR policies, procedures, and programs.

· Support recruitment efforts including job postings, screening, interviewing, and offer letters.

· Lead and manage the full onboarding process, including:

Preparing and sending welcome materials and new hire paperwork.

Coordinating background checks and employment eligibility verification.

Scheduling orientation sessions and training schedules.

Setting up system access, equipment, and workspace in collaboration with IT and Facilities.

Conducting new hire orientation and ensuring a smooth first-day experience.

Acting as the primary point of contact for new hires during their first 90 days.

Gathering feedback to continuously improve the onboarding experience.

· Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS systems.

· Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee inquiries.

· Provide guidance to employees on HR-related topics such as leaves, compensation, and company policies.

· Support performance management processes including reviews and goal setting.

· Coordinate training and development initiatives.

· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

· Assist in employee engagement and wellness initiatives.

· Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field desired.

· 2–4 years of experience in a similar HR role.

· Solid understanding of HR best practices and compliance.

· Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Paylocity).

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

· HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
