Assistant Manager

Come lead our team as a Zaxby's Assistant Manager Zaxby's is looking for ambitious leaders to help run our store. The ideal candidate is a quick learner and has ambition to accelerate their career

Overview:

Support the GM on each shift, by maintaining a positive store culture that is consistent with Zaxby's Core Values and Mission Statement. Provide unparalleled and exceptional food service to our community. Ensure each employee supports this initiative on every shift.

Supervision:

Reports directly to the GM of the store location.

Supervises the team members of each shift, including CTs and CZTs.

General Job Functions:

Make sure each employee and each shift is Guest Focused.

Ensure all of Zaxby's operational procedures are followed by every team member on each shift.

Make sure the shift runs smoothly, and that the store is left clean, organized, and properly prepared for the next shift. This includes ensuring all manager checklists and FOH/BOH lists are completed. Make sure the next 2 shifts are FULLY staffed. Simply put: Manage your shift well.

Uniform Expectations: It is required that each AM set the example and wear the uniform 100% correctly on each and every shift.

Specific Job Requirements:

Complete all manager checklist items in a timely manner.

Protein traceability, critical counts, Time Temp, waste log, deposits/cash management/safe counts, and auditing/correcting time cards are critical restaurant functions that must be completed accurately and with care.

Managers are required to have open availability

Store is open entirely during operational hours. Closing early or opening late is not allowed unless directed by owner.

Checklists are completed and signed off 100% on every shift. Mangers must check team members checklists, and complete any items not up to Zaxby's standards.

Attend weekly manager meetings

Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include the following:

Walking, standing or sitting for extended periods of time.

Lifting a minimum 50 lbs. overhead
