Job Summary

• Serve as Datacenter Networking Enterprise Architect with a focus on F5 technologies for the State of Michigan.
• Act as primary resource for F5 configuration, security, management, and troubleshooting.
• Configure and manage F5 resources including LTM, ASM, APM, and GTM modules.
• Collaborate with agency developers to validate and implement F5 recommendations for various applications.
• Request and manage SSL certificates as needed.
• Maintain and manage assigned ticket queue using the Remedy Ticketing System to meet Service Level Agreements.
• Participate in troubleshooting and design meetings for application deployments and network solutions.
• Respond to phone calls and emails promptly and professionally.
• Work onsite at least two days a week in Lansing, Michigan (within 60 minutes' commute).
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Use knowledge of Cloudflare as part of network security and performance optimization.
• Perform the following specific F5 tasks:
• LTM: Create Virtual IPs (VIPs), troubleshoot issues, install/renew certificates, create/modify iRules.
• ASM: Create and fine tune policies, troubleshoot and monitor new learning suggestions.
• APM: Create and troubleshoot SAML policies.
• GTM: Create and manage Wide IPs.
