Entry Level Orthodontic Assistant

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Entry-Level Orthodontic Assistant to join our orthodontic team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is new to the field and eager to learn. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and excited to gain hands-on clinical experience while supporting our patients and orthodontist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the orthodontist during routine procedures, including placing and removing orthodontic ties, taking impressions, and supporting chairside tasks.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to safety protocols.
• Take patient records such as X-rays, photos, and digital scans (training provided).
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and orthodontic appliance care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient charts are up to date.
• Support front office tasks as needed, including scheduling or patient check-in.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment.

Qualifications:

• No prior orthodontic experience required; dental or orthodontic training is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the orthodontic field.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Current dental assistant certification or X-ray license (if required by state) or willingness to obtain.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour
