Kitchen Manager – Authentic Italian Kitchen
We're seeking a talented and motivated Kitchen Manager to lead our Italian specialties kitchen — a place where everything is made from scratch with pride, tradition, and creativity.
About the Role
As our Kitchen Manager, you'll oversee all culinary operations — ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency while nurturing a positive, collaborative kitchen culture. You'll work closely with ownership and the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional entrees and homemade sauces.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily kitchen operations and manage back-of-house staff
- Oversee production of all items.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety
- Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
- Develop and train kitchen staff in recipes, technique, and efficiency
- Collaborate on menu development and seasonal specials
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Control food costs and minimize waste
Qualifications
- 3+ years of kitchen management or lead cook experience (Italian cuisine preferred)
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a culinary team
- Strong knowledge of scratch cooking, prep systems, and kitchen organization
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)
- Passion for Italian food, craftsmanship, and consistency
