We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Person to ensure the optimal operation and safety of our facilities. Duties

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of building systems, machinery, and equipment using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
• Perform electrical repairs, including troubleshooting circuits, replacing components, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to manage automated systems within manufacturing or facilities environments.
• Execute welding tasks for structural repairs or fabrication projects as needed.
• Support residential painting projects to maintain facility aesthetics and upkeep.
• Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to schedule work orders, record maintenance activities, and track asset histories.
• Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants.
• Assist with manufacturing equipment upkeep to minimize downtime and optimize production flow.
• Lead or support team members in maintenance tasks, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of schematics, electrical wiring, PLCs, and troubleshooting techniques using tools like ohmmeters.
• Skilled in welding techniques for repairs or fabrication projects.
• Mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation and repair.
• Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately.
• Experience with CMMS software for maintenance management is preferred.
• Supervising or leadership experience in a maintenance setting is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English to effectively document work orders and collaborate with team members.
• Basic residential painting skills are desirable but not mandatory.
