The Role
From machine operators to maintenance technicians to quality inspectors, our teams help protect what matters most—making everyday life safer, smarter, and more sustainable.
Schedule: Work only 15 days per month with our unique rotating 3-4 day schedule
- B – Night Shift: 7:00pm - 7:00am (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday + alternating Saturdays)
What You'll Do
- Manage daily activities of storage and distribution locations during assigned shifts
- Lead shifts in process improvement projects and support a continuous improvement culture
- Maintain control of all assigned inventory, including the prompt resolution of discrepancies
- Lead inventory count and accuracy activities for assigned areas on assigned shifts
- Ensure goods are dispatched on time, in the correct quantities and to the appropriate destinations
- Oversee warehouse operations, staffing, and development for assigned team members
- Develop, implement, and enforce logistics processes in assigned facilities, functional areas, and shifts
- Manage compliance with product safety and quality for assigned facilities during assigned shifts
- Communicate efficiently with CSR's, customers, carriers, and vendors
- Ensure goods are stored handled properly to prevent loss or damage during assigned shifts
- Develop and lead training objectives and programs
- Ensure that equipment in assigned areas is monitored and maintained for safe and reliable performance and that assigned equipment receives preventative maintenance
- Performs shipping operator, and materials job responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with material managers/plant managers at production facilities, finishing building and Sustainability Center to ensure efficient movement of product to/from DC/MW
- Proficient in transferring material to off-site facilities (Ontario, Delaware, Massillon)
- Lead daily shift meetings communicating to team safety objectives, daily activities, company updates, policy, and procedure changes, and provide feedback to team's questions.
- Effectively communicate and work with 3PL daily to ensure outbound shipments will reach destination in a timely manner, and problem solve with problematic shipments.
- Maintain and Manage employee PTO, approval of timecards in ADP, per CNG policies.
- Organize and coordinate work objectives/tasks to Team Leaders and shifts daily.
- Proficiency in auto rack system operation, trouble shooting and problem solving with Mecalux
- Operate box truck to move finished goods and other materials at plants, finishing building and Sustainability Center to/from DC/MW
What You'll Bring
Essential Qualifications:
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds
- 3+ years of Leadership experience
- 3+ years of Shipping & Receiving experience
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools
- Strong communication skills and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic computer knowledge
- Previous manufacturing experience
Compensation & Benefits
Starting Salary:
- Wages ranging from $ $32.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
- Additional $2.50 per hour night shift differential.
