Senior Frontend Engineer (Remote / Hybrid NYC)

We're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to take ownership of a mission-critical frontend stack and help build high-performance, real-time web applications used by technically sophisticated users around the world. This role is for someone who thrives on solving tough technical challenges, values clean and intuitive UX, and enjoys working in a fast-moving environment.

What You'll Do:


• Lead frontend architecture and drive best practices in performance, scalability, and maintainability


• Build clean, intuitive, responsive UIs that handle real-time data updates


• Partner with design, product, and backend teams to turn requirements into elegant, reliable solutions


• Integrate frontend applications with APIs and real-time data streams


• Establish testing standards and contribute to deployment workflows


• Mentor other engineers and contribute to a high-bar engineering culture


• Stay current with modern frontend technologies and recommend what to adopt next

What You Bring:


• 7+ years of professional frontend development experience, with 3+ years in senior/lead roles


• Expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React preferred)


• Strong understanding of component design, state management, and frontend architecture


• Experience building real-time applications (WebSockets, GraphQL subscriptions, etc.)


• Deep strength in HTML/CSS and modern styling frameworks


• Knowledge of performance optimization, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility


• Experience with testing tools like Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library


• Familiarity with build tools and CI/CD workflows


• Strong collaboration and UX sensibility

Nice to Have:


• Experience in financial, trading, or highly data-intensive applications


• Familiarity with charting/visualization libraries , Highcharts, Recharts)


• Experience building or maintaining design systems


• Prior experience in a startup or fast-scaling environment
