About
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Coordinator for our Madison, Wisconsin location. This leadership role is essential for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety in all logistics activities. You will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and implementing process improvements. Your expertise will directly impact the effectiveness of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring timely processing of shipments.
- Oversee inventory management, including cycle counts, stock rotation, and discrepancy resolution.
- Ensure all warehouse operations comply with safety regulations and company policies, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Implement and monitor operational efficiencies to optimize workflow.
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports on warehouse performance.
- Train and mentor warehouse team members on best practices.
- Manage equipment maintenance and ensure a safe working environment.
- Facilitate effective communication between different departments involved in logistics.
- Ensure safe execution of tasks involving significant Lifting and material handling.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse supervision or coordination is required.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics principles.
- Proficiency in WMS and other relevant software.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices, including PPE and Lifting safety.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
