About
Our bustling logistics facility in Virginia Beach, Virginia is seeking diligent Picker/Packers to join our operations. This role is essential for accurately fulfilling customer orders and ensuring timely shipments. You will be responsible for selecting items from inventory, preparing them for shipment, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency. We are committed to a safe working environment and require strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the consistent use of PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Verify product information, including SKUs and quantities.
- Pack items securely and safely to ensure they arrive in excellent condition.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Utilize RF scanning devices for inventory tracking.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse area.
- Follow all safety guidelines and utilize required PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of items weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory principles.
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and wear necessary PPE.
