About
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our San Antonio, Texas facility. As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing warehouse staff, optimizing workflow, ensuring efficient inventory management, and maintaining a high standard of Safety. Your role is critical to the smooth functioning of our logistics operations, involving supervision, scheduling, process improvement, and problem-solving. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management, and a commitment to fostering a productive and safe work environment. This role requires the ability to handle various tasks, potentially including occasional Lifting and supervising activities that demand physical presence. You must champion Safety by ensuring all team members adhere to Safety protocols and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Join our team and play a key role in the success of our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse personnel.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse operational procedures.
- Manage inventory levels, stock rotation, and cycle counts.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Monitor and enforce all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices and Safety standards.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics flow.
- Maintain equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Achieve operational performance targets related to productivity, accuracy, and cost efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or coordination role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Demonstrated commitment to Safety and experience implementing Safety programs.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring occasional physical exertion, including Lifting.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement.
